Day 1/2 MOREMI GAME RESEVE - SANDIBE SAFARI LODGE

Upon arrival at Maun/Kasane Airport you will be met and assisted onto your light aircraft transfer to Sandibe Safari Lodge 

Sandibe Safari Lodge is set on a permanent channel of the magnificent Okavango Delta, adjacent to the game-rich Moremi Wildlife Reserve on a 270 square kilometre (104 square mile) private concession.

Beautiful thatched lodge nestles between permanent water and grass-swept plains. Organic architecture that blends seamlessly with one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Africa. Sandibe is surrounded by an abundant array of wildlife and throughout the year, guests are enchanted by the changing moods of the Delta. Through exhilarating game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles and interpretive bush walks, professional guides share the wonder of this wetland wilderness.

Spend two nights at Sandibe Safari Lodge in a twin bedded African-inspired cottage with en suite facilities.  Accommodation is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities 

Activities include daily game-drives, bush walks, river cruises, mekoro excursions, bird-watching, and stargazing. For relaxation there is a hammock trees on the upper deck of the guest area, and a shaded plunge pool   


Day 3/4: MOREMI GAME RESERVE - NXABEGA SAFARI CAMP

Transfer by light aircraft to Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp

Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp is located on the edge of the Okavango Delta in a 7 000-hectare (17 300-acre) exclusive wildlife concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Meaning 'Place of the Giraffe', Nxabega is ideally positioned to explore the magnificence of the Okavango - the largest inland delta in the world. A wetland wilderness of looping channels, islands forested with palms and wide grassy floodplains, the Delta is home to a magnificent array of wild animals and exceptional birdlife. Guests are able to experience this irresistible combination of water and wildlife on twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, mokoro and powerboat excursions.

Spend two nights at Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp in a twin bedded East African style safari tent pitched on an elevated platform with en suite facilities.  Accommodation is on a full board basis including park fees and scheduled activities

Guests have a choice of daily activities including meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro (canoe), exploring the deeper channels by motor boat or tracking game in open 4x4-safari vehicle in the mopane forests and open grasslands.  The added highlight of an evening game-drive with spotlight assures you of an unforgettable experience in Botswana. 


Day 5/6: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK - SAVUTE SAFARI LODGE

Transfer by light aircraft to Savute Safari Lodge 

Savute pulses to a timeless rhythm, a melody of mysterious wet and dry cycles, which moulds its landscape and determines its inhabitants. A winding fossil channel vanishes into the sweeping expanse of a relic marsh where the spectacular fortress of the Gubatsa Hills relieves Savute’s otherwise flat countryside.

Savute Safari Lodge peers out from ancient acacia trees on the edge of the channel. 12 twin-bedded thatched safari suites, crafted from timber and glass, feature an overhead fan, en suite facilities and private viewing platforms and offer luxury and comfort without detracting from your wilderness experience. The cocktail bar beckons you with a cold drink on a hot Savute day, while a fireplace turns the lounge into a cosy refuge on winter nights.

Spend two nights at Savute Safari Lodge in a twin bedded thatched safari suite with en suite facilities, crafted from timber and glass.

Game-drives, conducted by a professional guide in an open vehicle provide the chance of seeing the varied wildlife for which the area is justly famous. Thousands of zebra visit Savute en route to the new grasses at Mababe in the south, and return around February on their way home to Linyanti.  They share the marsh with tsessebe, wildebeest, giraffe and cheetah.  The rains also welcome thousands of migrant birds that swell Savute’s existing 300 species.


Day 7: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK - VICTORIA FALLS (ZAMBIA / ZIMBABWE)  

Transfer to Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe).

This afternoon you have a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. The total cruise time is approximately 3 hours. Enjoy the special atmosphere as the sun sets beneath the African sky. Sightings of elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There is also an abundance of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Day 8: VICTORIA FALLS (ZAMBIA / ZIMBABWE)  (B)

This morning you will have a tour of both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides of the Falls.  A natural phenomenon and one of the seven natural Wonders of the World, the Victoria Falls is an immense curtain of water cascading over 100m. Around 550 million litres over the lip every minute, at peak flow this increases to 750 million litres. Around the Falls is rainforest sustained by the spray of the Falls with some plant species rarely found elsewhere in Zambia or Zimbabwe.
